It's Back - The Southbank Shuttle

The Southbank Shuttle Trolley travels the riverfront cities of Newport, Covington and downtown Cincinnati, making travel between entertainment venues, sports arenas, shopping and dining favorites and cultural destinations so easy! Starting November 13 the trolleys will be a great way to see our cities...and it's now back on the Suspension Bridge!

Signs with a detailed map mark each trolley stop and information is available at your hotel and at each of the areas attractions. Or just hop on and ask a trolley driver! We’re hoping your time in Northern Kentucky is enjoyable and that you enjoy riding the Southbank Shuttle Trolley service!

Southbank Shuttle Trolley Hours & Frequency:

Summer Hours - April - October



Sunday: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.



Monday-Thursday: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.



Friday: 6 a.m. to Midnight



Saturday: 10 a.m. to Midnight

The trolley operates a frequent service throughout the Newport, Covington and downtown Cincinnati areas. Trolleys stop at each stop every 15 minutes during the posted service hours.

Senior/Disabled Reduced Fare $0.75
Day Pass $3.50
3 Day Pass $10

30 Day Southbank Shuttle Pass $44

Game Day Service:

Southbank Shuttle Trolleys provide service to all home Reds and Bengals games.

Reds:

Service begins operating 2 hours before game time. In order to provide faster, more frequent service during these peak times, trolley service is often supplemented by large buses, which may travel a different route to the destination.

Walnut St. at Freedom Way (added large buses will stop on Rosa Parks, on the west side of the Freedom Center)

Bengals:

Added service begins operating 2 hours before game time. In order to provide faster, more frequent service during these peak times, trolley service is often supplemented by large buses, which may travel a different route to the destination.

Additional Game Day buses:



From Cincinnati: 



After the game catch the added Game Day service at the Cincinnati Riverfront Transit Center.

Regular Southbank Route:



To/From Newport:



Rosa Parks on the west side of the Freedom Center



To/From Covington:



Walnut St. at Freedom Way (added large buses will stop on 2nd Street in front of the Freedom Center)
