TANK Operates Sunday Schedule on July 4
TANK will be operating on a holiday (Sunday) schedule on Thursday, July 4, in observation of the Independence Day holiday.
TANK’s administrative offices, call center, and downtown sales office will be closed. RAMP will also operate on a holiday (Sunday) schedule.

Cincinnati Pride Parade Detours
Due to the Cincinnati Pride Parade on Saturday, 6/22/19, TANK buses will be on detour in Cincinnati.
From approximately 10 a.m.-3 p.m. :
SOUTHBANK SHUTTLE passengers should use the stop on Race Street between 4th and 5th Street.
LOCAL service passengers should use the stop on Race Street between 4th and 5th Street.
EXPRESS service passengers can use stops on 5th St. at Elm, Race at 3rd. or Race between 4th and 5th St.

Memorial Day Schedule

Memorial Day - May 27th
TANK will operate a HOLIDAY/SUNDAY schedule on Monday, May 27 in honor of Memorial Day.
Additionally, during the Free Store Freedom Hunger Walk on Monday, May 27th, beginning at 8:30 a.m. until approximately 11:30 a.m., TANK will be on detour in Covington and Downtown Cincinnati. Certain stops near the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge on the Covington side of the bridge will be temporarily closed. Stops around the CTC will still be served.

Taste of Cincinnati - TANK Stops Moved
Due to the Taste of Cincinnati in downtown Cincinnati, TANK will be on detour Friday, May 24th, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. until early Tuesday morning May 28th.
Southbank Shuttle- use stop on 5th at Fountain Square (Westin Hotel)
Express Buses – use stop on Race at 3rd
For buses going to Newport/Campbell County, use the stop on 5th at Vine (Boi na Braza steakhouse)
For buses going to Covington/Kenton/Boone County, use the stop on 4th at Walnut.

Covington Transit Center Closed 9/23-9/30
Beginning Monday, September 23rd, the Covington Transit Center (CTC) will be closed for construction for approximately one week. While the CTC is closed, catch the bus on Madison at 3rd Street.
Passengers using these routes should load in Zone A; inbound to Cincinnati routes 1, 5, 9, 12, 16, 25 and 33.
Passengers using these routes should load in Zone B; outbound routes 1, 1X, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 17X, 28X, 33, 39X and 40X.
Signs will be on site to easily identify zones A and B.

Cincinnati Police Memorial Parade- Friday 5/17 - Detours
Some routes will have temporary stop closures and detours during the Cincinnati Police Memorial Parade on Friday, May 17 from 10:30 a.m. until the roads re-open (between noon-2:00 p.m.).
During the parade:
Routes #12, 16, 25 and Southbank Shuttle - use stop at 4th & Walnut
Routes #42X, 2X Airporter -- use stop on Race at 3rd

BIKE AND RIDE FOR FREE ON BIKE TO WORK DAY
Bicycle commuters ride free on TANK, Metro, BCRTA & CTC on May 17.
Those looking to give commuting by bike a try will have the perfect opportunity on May 17 when transit systems around the Cincinnati region partner to offer free fare for those with a bike.
In celebration of National Bike to Work Day, May 17, bus riders who load a bike onto the bus bike racks will ride for FREE on TANK, Metro, Butler County Regional Transit Authority (BCRTA) and Clermont Transportation Connection (CTC).
The day will showcase just how easy it is to bike and ride every day.
All TANK, Metro and BCRTA buses, as well as many CTC buses, are equipped with front-loading secure bike racks. Each rack accommodates two bikes. Bikes are not allowed on board buses unless they are foldable and can fit under a seat.
Metro and TANK have been recognized as “Bike Friendly Destinations” since 2011, providing advocacy and infrastructure improvements to support bicycling for employees and riders.

Beer Run Detour - Saturday May, 11 in Newport and Cincinnati
Saturday, May 11, 2019 starting at 8:45 a.m. until approximately 12:00 p.m. stops around the Taylor Southgate Bridge in Cincinnati & Newport will be temporarily closed for the Beer Run. Southbank Shuttle stop at 4th & Saratoga will be used in Newport during the race.

Flying Pig - Weekend Race Event Detours
Saturday AND Sunday- Flying Pig Marathon Weekend events this weekend (May 4-5) will temporarily close streets in downtown Cincinnati, Newport and Covington. TANK routes and stops will be affected in Newport and Covington until approximately noon on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday. See details below and on signs at the stop you usually use.
The Covington Transit Center is closed both days until street closures end—(approximately noon on Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday) Use stop on Scott St. between 5th & 6th St. in place of the CTC.
Express Route Passengers
Slight routing detours but no stop changes.
Regular Route Passengers
Please check your usual stop in Covington and Newport for specific information on stop relocation. Regular route passengers traveling from Cincinnati should catch their bus on 4th at Walnut.
The Southbank Shuttle will not start operating until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 due to the street closures in Downtown Cincinnati, Covington, and Newport. Once service starts at 1:00 p.m., please make sure to check your stop for additional information.
On Sunday, May 5, 2019 service on the Southbank Shuttle will start at its regular time (10 a.m.) but you may experience slight delays due to street and bridge closures. Please check your stop for further information.

Sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), the 2019 National Get On Board Day is a day that encourages people to support public transportation and showcases the benefits it brings to communities. Each weekday in the U.S., 34 million people board public transportation.
Additionally, public transportation is a cornerstone of local economies in urban, suburban, and rural communities. In fact, public transportation helps to make a community economically prosperous and competitive. Every $1 invested in public transportation generates approximately $4 in economic returns, powering community growth and revitalization.

Southbank Shuttle services are just $1.00 p/ride!
Southbank Shuttle (SS) service will begin at 6:00am on Thursday, March 28 for Reds Opening Day. Be on the lookout for regular TANK buses to act as Southbank Shuttle added service. Their destination sign will say “Great American Ballpark”.
Heading to the parade? Before 11am, take the SS to the Westin at Ft. Square. After 11am, due to street closures, take the SS to 3rd & Main.
Heading home AFTER the game? Those headed to NEWPORT should catch the SS on Broadway between Pete Rose Way & 3rd Street. Those headed to COVINGTON should catch the SS on Rosa Parks on the west side of the Freedom Center.
The SS will operate until 10:00pm for Opening Day.
Regular Route Adjustments:
The Southbank Shuttle stop on Walnut at Freedom Way near the Yard House will be closed due to pedestrian traffic beginning Wednesday at 6pm and will reopen after the game on Thursday.
During the Parade (beginning at 11 a.m. and until the conclusion of the parade):
· Local Routes should use the stop at 4th & Walnut
· Express Routes should use the stop at 3rd & Race
Southbank Shuttle Summer Hours will officially begin Saturday, March 30. Visit tankbus.org/route/ss for more information.
Closed bus stop at 4th & Vine
Due to construction, the bus stop at 4th & Vine will be closed for an undetermined amount of time. The Southbank Shuttle riders should use the stop at the Westin. Routes 12, 16 and 25 should use the stop at Government Square.

Heart Mini Marathon Detours - Sunday March 10th
Starting at 4:45 a.m. TANK will be on detour in Downtown Cincinnati and Newport until early afternoon. All Regular, Express, and Southbank Shuttle buses will be affected.
- Regular service passengers in Cincinnati will need to use the stops on 4th Street at Walnut or on Vine at 4th.
- Express service passengers in Cincinnati will need to catch the bus at the stop on Race St. at 3rd.
- Southbank Shuttle passengers in Cincinnati will need to catch the bus on Vine at 4th. Southbank Shuttle passengers in Newport should catch the bus on 4th at Saratoga due to closures on 3rd. St. in Newport.

From 9:00 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m.:
Southbank Shuttle buses will be on detour and not able to use the stop at the Freedom Center or the Yard House at The Banks. Please catch the Southbank Shuttle on Vine at 4th.
Also, the stops (regular and Southbank Shuttle) on the Cincinnati side of the Taylor Southgate Bridge near US Bank Arena will be temporarily closed as the runners/walkers come through. Check the temporary sign at your stop for details re: where to catch the bus for your route.

Thanksgiving Day Race - Thursday 11/22/28
Beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, due to the Thanksgiving Day Race, we will be on detour in downtown Cincinnati, Covington and Newport until the race ends. The Southbank Shuttle will not start operating until the end of the race, estimated to be early afternoon.
All passengers in Cincinnati should use the temporary stop on Race between 4th and 5th. Some stops in and around Covington and Newport will also be closed. Please check your specific stop for details.
