You're Invited to National Get On Board Day
SAVE THE DATE: NATIONAL GET ON BOARD DAY TO BE HELD ON APRIL 25
Get on Board for Public Transit
The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) and Cincinnati Metro will join with other public transportation systems nationwide to participate in National Get On Board Day on Thursday, April 25.
Sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), the 2019 National Get On Board Day is a day that encourages people to support public transportation and showcases the benefits it brings to communities. Each weekday in the U.S., 34 million people board public transportation.
Additionally, public transportation is a cornerstone of local economies in urban, suburban, and rural communities. In fact, public transportation helps to make a community economically prosperous and competitive. Every $1 invested in public transportation generates approximately $4 in economic returns, powering community growth and revitalization.
We hope you will join TANK and members of your community #GetOnBoard Thursday, April 25, 2019.

Have your thanked your driver lately?
We'll be showing TANK Operators, throughout the day, how much we appreciate them and we hope you'll join us.
You can thank them when you hop on the bus or even give them a shout-out on social media using the hashtag #TDAD or #TankTDAD. We'll be sharing and re-posting your photos and messages throughout the day and even popping up with signs on TANK routes showing our support.
Because they rock, we keep rolling. So be sure to let them know how much you appreciate them.
And to all the TANK Operators... Thanks for keeping us moving!
