Ticket Validators Are Live

TANK and Metro have spent the past several months installing and testing all new ticket validators for our buses to help create a truly touch-free payment experience, and it is now available for use to our riders! Pairing the validators with the Transit app is a great way to allow passengers to plan their trip, track their ride, buy tickets, and now scan their tickets all in one easy to use app in the palm of your hands.

October 2021 Service Changes

Attention TANK Passengers, on Saturday, October 9th, TANK will start running new schedules on a number of routes. Over the last 6-months, our driver shortage and increased traffic congestion has led to a decrease in reliability, and these changes are being made to address those issues. We’ve also heard a desire to have more one-seat rides between Kenton and Campbell Counties, and these new schedules will help accomplish this by having regular “interlining” between two specific routes. Here is a list of changes taking effect on October 9th:

#1 Dixie Hwy/Florence

  • See new timetable here
  • Interlines with #25 NKU/Alexandria on most trips

#2X Airporter

  • See new timetable here
  • Now serving Amazon Air Hub on Wendell Ford Blvd at select times only
  • For service to Amazon Air Hub GSE/RAMP Building, use the 32X Aero Pkwy/Burlington

#3 Ludlow/Bromley

  • See new timetable here
  • Interlines with the #16 West Newport/Fort Thomas on most trips
  • Route now starts and ends at 4th at Walnut in Cincinnati

#5 Holman Ave/Fort Wright

  • See new timetable here
  • Interlines with the #8 Eastern Ave/Crestview Hills on most trips

#7 Madison Ave/Latonia

  • See new timetable here
  • Interlines with the #12 Bellevue/Dayton on most trips

#8 Eastern Ave/Fort Wright
